How it works
01
Write a thesis
On fomo.family, on $FOF. That is the whole entry: no staking, no claiming, no extra transaction.
02
The clock jumps
Each qualifying thesis pushes the timer up by 60 seconds and puts its author at the front of the queue.
03
The pot grows
Trading fees land in the treasury wallet on Robinhood Chain. Whatever is sitting there on-chain is the pot.
04
Silence pays
If the clock reaches zero and nobody has written since you, the pot is yours and a new round opens.
The rules, exactly
Round lengthA fresh round opens with
10 min on the clock.Time per thesis
+60s per qualifying thesis, applied on top of whatever is left.CeilingThe clock never goes above
60 min of remaining time, no matter how many theses land. Rounds end.Cooldown
120s per author. Post again inside that window and your thesis still counts toward the total, but it adds no time. And you cannot defend your own lead: back-to-back theses from whoever is already holding the bag never move the clock.WinnerThe author of the most recent thesis when the clock hits zero. Position size does not matter. Timing does.
ChainRobinhood Chain (chain id
4663), the EVM chain behind Robinhood's on-chain products. Cheap blocks, fast finality, and ETH as the native asset, which is what the pot is paid in.Launch$FOF launches on ponsfamily.com. The pot wallet is public from day one, so you can watch it fill in the explorer.
Where the numbers come fromThe clock and the winner are decided server-side, never in your browser. Theses are read live from the fomo token page; pot, supply and market cap come straight from the chain RPC.
Questions
Write a thesis about $FOF on fomo.family. That is it. The moment fomo shows it, it lands here, pushes the clock by 60 seconds and puts you first in line for the pot.
If the clock reaches zero and nobody wrote a thesis after yours, the pot is yours. Every new thesis pushes the clock up and knocks you off the top spot.
No. There is a 120-second cooldown per author: posting again inside that window counts toward the total but adds no time. And whoever is already holding the bag cannot extend the clock at all: someone else has to move it.
Trading fees on $FOF land in the treasury wallet on Robinhood Chain. The number you see is that wallet's live balance read from the chain RPC, not a database figure. The address is in the footer, check it yourself.
An EVM chain (chain id 4663) used by Robinhood's on-chain products. Standard EVM tooling, cheap blocks, fast finality, and ETH as the native asset, which is why the pot is paid in ETH.
fomo only exposes the author and the text of theses whose position clears its own threshold, while the counter counts all of them. When that happens the card shows up without a name instead of inventing one.
The winner is recorded with the pot size at that moment, a fresh round opens with a full clock, and the next thesis starts it. Past rounds stay on the page.
The site keeps showing the last good data and the status line up top turns red. The clock never jumps around: it is corrected against server time on every refresh, and the round lives server-side, not in your browser.
